I started as a result of wanting an alternative to wearing metal jewelry. I began wearing leather bracelets and cuffs. Even though there are some beautiful leather pieces out there, I still felt the need for something different. That need was met when I stumbled upon paracord by way of Googling rope bracelets. Crazy huh? At that point, I still had no idea paracord existed, or so I thought. I came across a bracelet with a very familiar weave. I had seen it somewhere before...... It was the same weave I had seen on my the shoulder of my father's uniform. He was in the 82nd. It was the Cobra stitch! Paracord had been there the whole time!!!! I started digging deeper and found tutorials on different weaves. I was in awe of the craft. I finally got up enough courage to order some paracord after watching several tutorials over and over again. I haven't stop ordering yet. Knot tying is such a relaxing craft to learn. I enjoy it because it calms my mind and helps me to focus. I try to keep some loose cord with me at all times. Just in case.
